Slugme.io turns messy titles into clean, predictable URL slugs — for any language, without ever sending your text to a server.
Most slug generators assume English. The moment you feed them an accented French phrase or an Arabic headline, they strip the meaning right out of your URL. Slugme.io was built to fix exactly that, with a dedicated processing engine per language.
It runs entirely in your browser. There is no backend, no queue and nothing watching what you type — which makes it fast, private and safe to use on unpublished, confidential content.
It's free and open source. If a language behaves unexpectedly, the rules live in a single readable file you can inspect, fork and improve.
